Millions of people are currently on the weight loss mission. Unfortunately, only a small fraction will actually end up losing weight, and 1/2 of those that do be successful will put it back on in several weeks.
The weight loss industry makes vast amounts of dollars yearly due to eager consumers looking for some quick fix, that miracle pill, or the groundbreaking machine that will make sure they are lose weight.
Weight loss doesn’t come in a container or a machine. This never has, also it never will. Accurate weight loss takes correct nutrition, exercise, as well as rest. There are no overnight miracles, or even FDA approved medicines that will force body fat off your body, and none fo these products will keep it off. But many American’s still purchase “quick fixes” day after day because why? Marketing…
How efficient is marketing? Not too long ago, a diet pill organization was making a bogus claim “take the weight loss pill and you can eat whatever you want and continue to burn fat as you sleep”. They made over $152 million in revenue over 3 brief years by performing radio commercials in United States! That is until the Federal government stepped in! And all sorts of restaurants, which are adding the “new xxx diet plan approved” menus, all they are doing is trying to earn money too! Restaurants realize that people are willingly having to pay, so why wouldn’t these people add low carb diet plan dishes (even though the quantity of calories in these meals are alarmingly high and will cause you to load up on pounds!)
Recognize, that just because you see an advertisement for a weight loss product again and again on the television or even radio does not mean it will likely be effective in dropping permanent weight. Each one of these weight loss companies want to get their product in front of a person over and over so it is going to be there when you’re ready to purchase. Many people make the error of assuming an item is credible due to the fact it’s constantly on TV.
A diet is a temporary strategy to lose weight. Long-term weight loss is the consequence of an alteration in way of life. We are concerned with prolonged weight management, not magic pill weight loss here. I do not like the term diet plan, as it represents a brief term attempt to slim down vs. a change in way of life. Want to lose a lot of weight quickly? Start a good exercise plan and stick to a good diet, make it a lifestyle.
